Spencer Ward

Founder & Managing Principal

Spencer is the Founder and Managing Principal of Tower 25 Group. Prior to Tower 25, he spent four years in investment banking at J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank in New York, advising on more than $30 billion of M&A transactions. He then joined CIM Group, a real estate private equity firm in Los Angeles, where he executed over $750 million of equity and debt investments across real estate and infrastructure.

Beyond investing, Spencer has been deeply involved in building and advising small businesses. He co-founded Lumi, a materials science venture focused on building-services applications, and served on the board of Moonlight, a digital real estate business that raised over $2 million in seed funding. He also partnered with entrepreneurs during an internship at Pacific Lake Partners and worked directly with the CEO of Eleven Software on operational initiatives.

Spencer holds a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School, where he was both a Perlman ETA Fellow and a Zell/Linneman Real Estate Fellow. Raised across California, France, and Alabama, Spencer is a third-generation entrepreneur trained in finance and tested in operations. He lives in New York City with his girlfriend and enjoys architecture, photography, and time at the beach where Tower 25 takes its name.
